Pay No Attention to the Asshole Behind the Mahogany Desk:

An Article on Wal-Mart the Great and Powerful.
Featuring Anna's Amazing gifs

I was in Wal Mart recently, on a break from work. I figured I was about out of time. Originally I was planning on going to Safeway for a 92 cent six-pack. as I was out of time I decided to just grab a two-liter near the exit. Last time I did that it was only about a buck, which is about what I had, excluding the money for Swedish fish. I grabbed one and noticed it was a buck twenty-something. What the hell? I got it anyway, but I wont do it again. I had to pull out every penny I had, and I had a lot, to pay for the damned thing. I did get two cents back, yee haw. Wal Mart has a slogan about rolling back their prices. Rollback my ass. You rolled my coke up 34 cents. Thats half again as much money! Thats not a friggin' rollback! Wal Mart sucks. This coming from me.

This is Wal Marts new little picture doodle. They can afford signs that change from one to the other with the money they are making off of jacked up coke.

I also wanted some mini reeces or reeces pieces. But they had none. well they had mini reeces, but they were also more expensive than last time. So I went for the Skittles. I think they were the same price... except the bag was smaller. I guess they didnt think I would notice. Well I did. Jerks. I really have no problem with marking up prices if it is necessary. If it isn't I do. And if they claim they rollback prices everyday I do. Speaking of which, I haven't noticed that many rollbacks, at least not one every day. As states their claim.

"At BIG W its our aim to deliver the lowest possible prices every single day. Whenever we can achieve a cost reduction we pass on these savings to you by rolling back our prices even more and creating new everyday low prices." That is on their site. If you are trying so hard to save me money, why does everything cost more. Coke isn't gas. It's not made from (that much) oil. I am willing to bet Coke is not raising it's prices. You would notice elsewhere.

Another thing about Wal Mart and Coke. The cokes outside cost 75 cents. The ones inside are a buck... What?! If you are rolling back prices how is it higher inside than outside. Those are your machines outside. And people still buy them inside... Whats that? I tell Summer every time she buys one in there "they are cheaper outside." She doesn't care. Thats just because it's her parents money. When shes paying for it herself she'll understand a six-pack for less than a buck is worth more than a tiny coke for a buck. Man! Another thing that rocks, Safeway Brand Cola. Wal Marts is also cheap, but it has a general low quality.

This is a list of rollbacks on their site.

If you couldn't tell, I ran out of idea on this one. The good part was designed by Anna

If I ever buy any of that crap, I'll thank you for the buck. But I never will buy anything on that list. Theres no food, nothing to drink, and no pants. Some people would buy some of that crap, but it is all a one-time buy. You know what would really save people money? Not marking up items they frequently buy. You "mark down" items they buy once, for the most part. But you mark up what they actually buy. Lets see. $39.98 - $10.00 = $29.98; .95. + .34 = $1.29; $1.29 x 100 = $129.00; $29.98 x 1 = $29.98. Thats how much they make off of the onetime buy, and how much they make off of the coke. (The coke is the huge one) Well, thanks for making yourself money. I mean, saving me money, sorry. Now to factor in the cost of these things to the company. What is the coke, total? I'd say 5-10 cents. Yet they are rolling it back by selling it for 95 cents, and then raising the price. The plastic that they are rolling back cost what 10 bucks, for them? now then, they make fifteen bucks off of the onetime buy. What do they make from coke. in my last example it would be 119.00 over time. Way to roll back. Charge me ten times as much. "Rollbacks are part of our ongoing commitment to help you save even more, by lowering our Every Day Low Prices whenever we can..." And raising them when ever we need a new car. They left that part out.

Wal Mart also attracts idiots who think they can get things for cheap. People come to the store all the time and whisper really loudly "we can get this cheaper at Wal Mart." Half the time they are wrong. They also don't understand that quality costs money. Our stuff wont fall apart. Some stuff at Wal Mart is more expensive. I had a friend buy a betta fish there, and I complained and vowed to prove it would be cheaper at the store. Their bettas are 3.75, ours are 3 bucks, our containers come with food, and theirs do not. I think it is three to four bucks for a container there, plus food. It is six for both at the store. We win. Take that. Then they buy dog food at Wal Mart. guess what that food is made of, exactly what it says, if it says chicken it means chicken. I mean drop a chicken in a blender, and thats the dog food. Our foods are made of actual food. Sorry, but I'd rather my dog die sooner, as long as it is cheaper. Way to go.

In Closing: Change your friggin' slogan so I can shop there again.
